Rare Earth Stocks

This is every rare earth stock the RareEarth Index has screened, in one table: the thirteen current constituents, the one constituent deleted since inception, and the forty-four audit-trail rows for companies reviewed and excluded. Each row links to the page that carries the detail — the constituent profile, or the audit-trail row with the specific reason for exclusion.

Status and weights are as of the Q3 2026 rebalance (September 18, 2026 close). Exclusions were determined under methodology v2.0 at the April 30, 2026 calculation date and are re-screened at each semiannual reconstitution; the next is December 18, 2026. The exchange column for excluded names is read from the ticker suffix as the audit trail records it; the country column is filled where the source page states a domicile.

58 rows: 13 constituents, 1 deleted constituent, 44 audit-trail rows. One audit-trail row (Mkango Resources, TSXV line) is a second listing of a constituent that qualifies through its AIM line. Rows are drawn from the constituents page and the audit trail and carry no information beyond them.

How a company gets in or stays out

Six eligibility screens are applied in order — activity, exclusion, listing, market-cap floor, liquidity floor, English reporting standard (methodology §4). A company must derive the majority of its enterprise value from rare earth extraction, processing or separation, magnet or alloy manufacturing, recycling, or advanced-stage exploration with a defined JORC or NI 43-101 resource (§4.1); must list on one of eleven named exchanges (§4.3); and must clear USD 50 million in 30-day average market capitalization and USD 500,000 in 90-day average daily traded value, or USD 1,000,000 on TSXV (§4.3). Companies listed only on Shanghai or Shenzhen are out of scope (§11). No credit is given for strategic intent without a published resource (§9).

The five borderline cases adjudicated at inception — Aclara (included), Iluka, Brazilian Rare Earths, Vital Metals and St George Mining (excluded) — are reasoned through in the inaugural constituent note. To challenge an exclusion, use the contact page and cite the company and the reason given.
